SURPRISE!!

Levi had a big surprise last week on Thursday morning when he woke up. He was leaving for school extra early in the morning for a Mr Rocky practice (pictures coming soon) and came downstairs to find 3 of his friends from McMinnville sitting on the couch waiting for him! Luke, Colton and Joff drove all night Wednesday to Idaho to surprise Levi for an early birthday celebration! What awesome friends he has!!

Props for Friends and Family!!

One thing that I have been so thankful for this fall is all of the company that we have had visit us. I have been through some tough times in the last few months and having visits from Family and Friends has really made a difference!! Having a son that is a senior and the Varsity Quarterback of an awesome team probably helped, but I know that every one of these people would come for me anytime I asked. We have awesome family and friends!! I Love you all.

This is James my brother-in-law. The Waker's came to see us for a weekend and James wanted to see if he could dress down for the game. (Kim, I got no pictures of you when you were here, you were the one with the camera in your hand all the time) Love you.

The O'Halloran's!! Our friends for life! One of the reasons we have the family that we do is because of these awesome people! And because of Jesus of course!

BFF's These kids were raised from birth together! Well Colton and Ashley literally since they are twins :) Levi came along about 6 months later.

Grandpa Harlan and Grandma Brenda came and spent a weekend with us! They came bearing gifts of food and love!

Aunt Kelley! She has been a faithful fan to Levi! She has come to 2 games and listens at home every Friday night!

Uncle Jon! He has also come to 2 games and has been keeping all of Levi's stats! Trying to get him recruited to the Ducks :)

The McMillan family!
Or should I say the McTringers :) Friends for 21 years!!! Don't let the dresses fool you. These pretty girls are Big time Sports Fans.

Grandma Joyce was a life saver!! She came over and stayed for 3 week with me during my chemo treatments. Kept my laundry folded, dishes done, house clean etc. etc. etc.!!! This was on a road trip with her to a game!!

Mark and Elindsey of course! Her visits have been a big blessing. I miss my baby girl sooo much. It's good to have her home every so often!! Thanks Mark!!!! We couldn't ask for a better son-in-law!

We were lucky enough to have Elindsey back with us this year to carve pumpkins. Just wasn't quite the same last year without her! Even Grandpa was trying to get in on the festivities! Grandpa, Grandma, Aunt Kelley and Uncle Jon came up for Levi's game last weekend. Levi Threw a 99 yard touchdown pass. School record and ties the national record!! (can't get more than 99 yds) It was great to have them all here!!!

Trick-or-Treat!!

There may be some purely selfish motives in having my kids go trick-or-treating, I admit it! I have been addicted to candy ever since I can remember. Using my lunch money for candy was a daily occurance! So it's no surprise that when the kids were ready to turn in for the night I might have suggested one more block!!! I am the one that would eat all of my candy and then proceed to sneak my brother's because he took far to long to eat his! Just thinking of the health of his teeth!! So if the kids notice that their candy is disappearing faster than it should, don't come looking for me!!!

Senior Picture Sneak Peek

We had our first senior photo session this last weekend. And it went surprisingly well considering Levi isn't big on having his picture taken :) He is so handsome though, every picture was great! Not to mention my great photography skills and Elindsey's photo enhancing abilities!! We all made a great team!

SCHOOL DAYZ!!

We have embarked on a new experience this year. We decided this year that we would home school our 3 youngest! They have beg and beg and we decided to give it a try! It has been really great most days, and YOU ARE GOING BACK TO SCHOOL!! on a few rare occasions :) I won't say that it has been a walk in the park, had a few meltdowns during the first couple of weeks. But as time goes on, we are getting the hang of it and having a blast. Some days I think that I am learning more than the kids! I was one of those that memorized for the tests, got great grades, and then immediately forget everything I learned! So I am like, Wow, Did you guys know that the earth was round??!!

SENIOR NIGHT PART 2!!

Here is a few pictures from Senior Night! Thanks to Kim for the photography. She had to zoom in from way up in the stands, so if they are a bit blurry, it is no fault of the photographer. :) We had a great weekend with the Wakers!

This is the cool helmet that the team runs through before every home game. Us parents got to escort our boys through it and out onto the field before the game. We decided to walk though ;)

Olivia is all excited to hear her brother's name announced. Levi's announcement read,
Levi Altringer #8
escorted by his parents Andy and Kris Altringer.
After high school Levi hopes to attend college and play
football. He wants to thank his parents and his
coaches for all their time and commitment
and ultimately, Jesus Christ, because without
Him nothing would be possible.

Levi was voted at the beginning of the season as one of the permanent team captains.

In this picture it looks like time stood still for only Levi!

Levi's just a bit bigger than the referee.
Levi was actually saying to the ref, "you like that play huh? It's unstoppable!" The ref thought it was funny. :)
We went on to win the game 63-17. Levi had 2 passing touchdowns and 2 running!! WOO HOO!!

SENIOR NIGHT!!!

Tonight is the last home game of our regular season for Levi. It is senior night, the night when all of the parents go down on the field with their senior player to honor them. This is Levi's 9th tackle football season! I think that he was born with a football in his hand. Not sure where he gets it :) I think that he wore that Dallas Cowboys football uniform for about 8 Halloweens in a row! I can't believe that he is a senior in high school! Where does the time go?? We are so proud of the Young man that he has become. Such an easy going kid from the time he was born! We are so excited to have my sister Kim, her husband James, and their son Colton here for the weekend to visit us! They will get to watch the all the boys play this weekend! And of coarse, Olivia Cheer :)
